Park entry permits must be obtained via TANAPA. Visitors should have valid identification and park fees arranged before arrival. Normal daytime access is recorded as 06:00–18:00 East Africa Time: TANAPA’s current Tarangire page says gates close at 18:00; the official visitor brochure supplies the 06:00 opening. The older brochure’s 19:00 park closure is superseded here by the current gate-specific 18:00 notice, not used to permit late entry.
