Aberdare Country Club
A heritage country club nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, retaining the charm of a private home with the comforts of a country inn.
Settle into Aberdare Country Club
The Aberdare Country Club is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of the Great Rift Valley, only a two-and-a-half-hour drive northeast of Nairobi. This captivating site was once the homestead, known as 'The Steep', of an English couple who settled in Kenya; almost half a century later their home was renamed the Aberdare Country Club and opened to guests. Considered a heritage property in Kenya, it has retained the charm of a private home combined with the simple comforts of a country inn, set amid landscaped gardens with sweeping highland views. The Club is operated by Marasa Africa and serves as a gateway to the Aberdare National Park.
