Settle into Basecamp Masai Mara
Basecamp Masai Mara is a pioneering eco safari camp set on a lush peninsula along the Talek River, right on the border of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Its 17 river-view tents are tucked beneath thatched roofs among mature shade trees, each recently refurbished with a plush bed, modern en-suite bathroom and a private terrace overlooking the river and savannah. Run in close partnership with the neighbouring Maasai community, the camp offers an unusually authentic cultural experience alongside classic game viewing, and is home to the Enjoolata education centre, an organic garden and the Basecamp Maasai Brand handicraft workshop.
