Ilkeliani Camp
The original Wilder camp, set on the banks of the Talek River in the Masai Mara with twelve stilted tented suites across an East and West Wing.
Settle into Ilkeliani Camp
Ilkeliani is where the Wilder story started. Sitting on the banks of the Talek River and connected to the main reserve by a footbridge, it occupies a game-rich stretch of the Masai Mara where wildlife can be seen from the viewing decks. The central lounge connects indoor and outdoor dining areas, and the kitchen draws from an organic garden grown on site. Twelve tented suites overlook the river, each elevated on stilts with large wooden decks and detachable canvas sides that open fully onto the view. The suites spread across an East Wing (Premier and Family Suites) and a West Wing (Deluxe and Family Suites), and with a capacity of up to thirty guests the camp is well suited to families and groups, with children of all ages welcome and full accessibility for guests with mobility needs.
