The lodge is steps from the Lake Duluti forest reserve and its volcanic crater lake, where guests can canoe, fish, birdwatch and take guided forest walks, alongside an on-site coffee farm tour. A new sister property, Luwela Camp on Makoma Hill in the central Serengeti, was announced by the same operator.
