This gives guests a quick, easy descent to the crater floor each morning, typically an hour's head start over camps using the busier Seneto access road on the western rim, and the option to stay later in the afternoon. Game drives from camp can start as early as 6:15am, reaching the crater floor within 10-15 minutes for the best light and wildlife activity, and escorted walks into the forest and along the crater rim are available with an armed ranger and Maasai guide. The camp has 10 spacious tents positioned for privacy with minimal impact on the forest, a mess tent with an adjoining lounge and bar, and a campfire area where guests gather each evening.
