Wilderness Mara, formerly Little Governors' Camp, is an intimate luxury tented camp set at the heart of the Mara Triangle within Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve, where sweeping plains rise to meet the Oloololo Escarpment and the Mara River carves through the landscape. Completely rebuilt while keeping its classic East African character, the camp comprises just 12 tented suites positioned along the edge of a thriving marsh ecosystem, each with elevated private decks and indoor and outdoor showers. The Mara Triangle, managed by the Mara Conservancy, offers exceptional game viewing with lower vehicle density, effective anti-poaching and strict conservation management, plus direct access to both sides of the Mara River via a private footbridge. Facilities include a spa, gym, pool with lounge and a photographic studio, and the camp continues Governors' legacy of conservation and community work under the Wilderness Impact framework.
