Charlie, Ruaha
A light-footed, exclusive-use walking camp of up to 4 A-frame tents that sets up in Ruaha National Park's dry-season riverine woodland from July to October.
Settle into Charlie, Ruaha
Charlie, Ruaha is one of Nomad Tanzania's Expeditionary Walking Camps -- a small, lightweight, exclusive-use mobile setup of up to 4 A-frame tents that relocates within its area over the course of a stay. In Ruaha it settles along the river as it gathers below the vast Usangu wetlands during the dry season (July-October), in prime walking and big-game country of riverine woodland, open bushland and floodplain edges. The camp is exclusive-use for one group of 2-6 guests at a time, with 2 shared bush bathrooms and a minimum guest age of 16, and is often combined with a stay at Nomad's nearby Kigelia camp.
