Settle into Nyikani Migration Camp – Kogatende
Nyikani Migration Camp relocates twice a year within the Serengeti ecosystem to keep guests well placed for the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra. From late May through October the camp is sited at Machwechwe 1 in Northern Serengeti, close to the Mara River, giving easy access to several river crossing points where wildebeest and zebra cross back and forth between Tanzania and Kenya, frequently alongside crocodiles, hippos, and large cats. The camp offers 12 tents in king, twin, triple, or family configuration plus a dedicated family tent, each with a private shaded verandah overlooking the Serengeti ecosystem. From December through March the same camp moves south to the Ndutu area (Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just south of Serengeti National Park) for the calving season and Lakes Ndutu/Masek game viewing.
