Sarara Camp

Six-tent luxury eco-lodge on the slopes of the Mathews Mountains in the 850,000-acre Namunyak Conservancy, Northern Kenya.

The stay

Settle into Sarara Camp

Set on the slopes of the Mathews Mountains, Sarara Camp offers continuous connection with a remote wilderness and the wildlife that calls it home. Six spacious en-suite tents enjoy uninterrupted views of Namunyak's 850,000-acre wilderness and the majestic Mathews Mountain Range, each with a solar-heated outdoor shower. The camp's infinity pool overlooks a permanent waterhole frequented by elephants and other wildlife. Pioneered by the indigenous Samburu over three decades, Namunyak has become a blueprint for community-led conservation, sheltering elephants, reticulated giraffe, the endangered Grevy's zebra, wild dogs and more. All of Sarara's camps are driven and managed by the local Samburu community.
