Saruni Rhino
An intimate four-banda bush camp on a dry riverbed in the Sera Community Conservancy, home to East Africa's first on-foot rhino-tracking experience.
Settle into Saruni Rhino
Saruni Rhino is a rustic yet elegant four-banda camp raised above a doum-palm-lined dry riverbed in the vast Sera Community Conservancy of northern Kenya. The prospect of water and minerals draws many animals to the riverbed, making the camp a perfect place to watch wildlife come and go, and the setting for starlit bush dinners and guided walks. Its signature experience is rhino tracking on foot in the 25,650-acre Sera Rhino Sanctuary - the first walking safari of its kind in East Africa and part of the first community-owned black rhino sanctuary in Africa. Each stone banda is named after a rhino born or translocated to the sanctuary, and a stay offers deep insight into Samburu culture, including the famous Singing Wells.
