The Manor at Ngorongoro sits in the green, rolling hills of northwest Tanzania, on a 1,500-acre Arabica coffee estate adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Built in the Cape Dutch style with white-painted ornate gables, it evokes an elegant up-country farm home and was one of the first safari lodges to fuse East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and decor. Its 9 cottages, a separate family cottage, and a main Manor House are positioned to maximise views of the surrounding coffee-laden hills while preserving the intimacy of an old-world manor home. The lodge serves as a base for exploring the nearby Ngorongoro Crater, and offers its own stables for horse riding around the estate.
