Best time to visit
The dry season from late June to October is best for wildlife viewing, while the wet season is ideal for birdwatching.
The park is easily accessible by road from Arusha, typically as part of a Northern Circuit safari. Park entry permits are required and can be managed through the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA).
