Elewana Loisaba Star Beds
Handcrafted four-poster beds on raised platforms poised on a rocky kopje in the Loisaba Conservancy, rolled out each night so guests can sleep under the endless African sky above a permanent waterhole.
Settle into Elewana Loisaba Star Beds
Elewana Loisaba Star Beds is poised on a rocky kopje commanding sweeping views over an undulating valley and a permanent waterhole frequented by resident wildlife. Handcrafted four-poster wooden beds sit on raised wooden platforms jutting out from thatched-roof accommodation and are rolled out each night for guests to enjoy a memorable sleep under the stars. Each star bed is rustically designed to complement the surrounding environment, individually built in harmony with the natural rocky features and incorporating a sitting area and an open-plan bathroom with a view. A team of traditional Samburu and Laikipiak Maasai warriors welcome and host guests with their customary warm hospitality, and days rounded off with drinks by the log fire in the Star Beds lounge give way to shared dinners and tall tales of the African bush. Loisaba is a 57,000-acre conservancy in Laikipia County owned by the Loisaba Community Trust and committed to wildlife and ecological conservation on the western edge of a key elephant movement corridor.
