Tented camp guarded by three-million-year-old granite towers in Central Serengeti, positioned directly on the main annual wildebeest migration corridor.
Settle into Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp
Guarded by three-million-year-old granite towers in the magnificent Serengeti National Park, Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp offers the quintessential African safari experience. The elegant tented camp is located on one of the main annual migration corridors for over one million wildebeest, half a million zebras and gazelles, and their accompanying predators. The camp's 16 custom-made canvas tents are dotted through rocky glades on stone platforms, each offering spacious style and home-like comfort with two queen beds under mosquito nets, a relaxed seating area, free Wi-Fi, a private tented bathroom with 24-hour hot water and flushing WC, and a private outdoor terrace with safari chairs and sun loungers. Dining ranges from the tented dining room and campfire BBQs to full bush dinners amid the plains. Guests can enjoy cooking and Swahili lessons, Maisha Spa treatments, balloon safaris, and destination wedding and honeymoon packages. The camp operates on thermal solar heating systems as part of Serena's renewable energy program.
