Best time to visit
The best time to visit is during the dry season from late June to October for wildlife viewing, or January to February for the calving season.
Access is typically via light aircraft to various airstrips within the park or by 4x4 vehicle from Arusha. Park entry permits are required and are usually managed by tour operators. Malaria prophylaxis is recommended.
