Nimali Mara sits in the extreme north of the Serengeti, close to the Kenyan border, where the Mara River cuts through rolling, acacia-dotted hills and grassy savannah. This is where the great wildebeest migration meets its biggest challenge, crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River at its peak between July and October each year. Tucked into the surrounding kopjes, the camp blends into its natural rock-formation setting and includes an infinity pool set among the rocks. There are eight tented suites and two honeymoon suites, each with a private deck offering exceptional views over the Serengeti and a bath positioned to take in the grassy plains. The interior design mixes slick, contemporary elements with earthy textures, fabrics and styling.
