Charlie, Southwest Serengeti is Nomad Tanzania's Expeditionary Walking Camp exploring the quieter southwest edge of Serengeti National Park -- big open plains, acacia woodland and granite kopjes rising like islands from the grass, described by Nomad as 'the Serengeti of 20 years ago'. This is not a migration-led safari but a scenery- and terrain-focused walking experience alongside resident wildlife and Maasai communities. The small, exclusive-use camp of up to 4 A-frame tents operates from the beginning of November through to mid-June, with 2 shared bush bathrooms and a minimum guest age of 16.
