Kuro
A small, light-footed bush camp of six safari rooms plus a family room, tucked into riverside acacia and kigelia woodland deep inside Tarangire National Park.
Settle into Kuro
Kuro is Nomad Tanzania's intimate bush camp inside Tarangire National Park, built among acacia and kigelia (sausage) trees along a river line where elephants regularly pass directly through camp. Six large canvas tents stand in a line tracing the riverbank, spaced for privacy, plus one two-bedroom family tent -- all en-suite with both outside bucket showers and inside proper showers. A short walk from camp is Kuro's own Elephant Treehouse, a raised platform overlooking a dry riverbed for wildlife viewing. The camp is open June to mid-March, with a minimum guest age of 8.
