Best time to visit
The dry season from June to October is the best time for wildlife viewing as animals congregate around the Tarangire River.
Access is typically via road from Arusha or by light aircraft into local airstrips. Park entry permits are required and can be managed through licensed tour operators. The park is best explored with a 4x4 vehicle.
