Serengeti Safari Camp

Nomad Tanzania's original migration-chasing mobile camp: six Meru canvas tents plus a family tent, relocating 4-5 times a year to stay with the wildebeest migration.

The stay

Settle into Serengeti Safari Camp

Serengeti Safari Camp is Nomad Tanzania's founding mobile camp, started by Mark and Milly Houldsworth with two old Land Rovers to shadow the wildebeest migration across the Serengeti. The camp still moves 4 to 5 times a year to keep pace with the herds, pitching six open-plan Meru canvas tents plus one two-bedroom family tent wherever the migration currently is. It runs on classic safari lines -- bucket showers, an open mess, no fixed address -- and is open year-round for guests aged 8 and up.
