Olakira Migration Camp
An upgraded migratory tented camp with unique mesh-enclosed stargazing tents, moving between the northern Serengeti's Mara River crossings and the southern Serengeti's calving season.
Settle into Olakira Migration Camp
Olakira Migration Camp offers an upgraded migratory camp experience, moving twice a year to follow the Great Migration. From June to October it sits in the Bolongonja area of the northern Serengeti, where guests can witness wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River. From December to March it relocates to Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the wildebeest give birth to as many as a thousand calves a day, drawing intense predator action. Each guest tent has a unique mesh-enclosed, wooden-decked design that allows guests to stargaze without leaving their tent. The camp offers ten tents and two family units in its northern location, and nine tents with one family unit in the south, and welcomes children aged five and older.
