Serengeti Migration Camp is hidden among the rocky outcrops of north-central Serengeti National Park, on a promontory known as Poacher's Lookout overlooking the Grumeti River and the Ndasiata Hills. The camp comprises 20 elevated tents, each with a spacious, richly furnished bedroom and its own 360-degree verandah deck for private game viewing. The main tent houses a split-level lounge, swimming pool, restaurant, and viewing platforms looking out over the river and surrounding landscape. Its location near the start of the wildebeest migration route, close to resident hippos on the Grumeti River, makes it a base for high-action game viewing in the northern Serengeti.
