Serengeti Pioneer Camp
A luxury tented camp styled after a 1930s pioneer explorer's camp, set among its own kopje in the Moru Kopjes area of the central-southern Serengeti with sweeping views over the plains and Lake Magadi.
Settle into Serengeti Pioneer Camp
Serengeti Pioneer Camp pays homage to the mobile safari camps of the 1930s, when an African journey was truly into the unknown, and is perched on its own individual kopje in South Central Serengeti close to the Moru Kopjes. The camp comprises 12 tented accommodations, including one two-bedroom family tent, each designed to evoke a bygone era while offering full en-suite comfort. There are no fences around the property, so antelope and other wildlife often pass through camp, and the location gives access to the annual wildebeest migration and the Big Five across sweeping views of the Serengeti plains and Lake Magadi. Combined with sister property Serengeti Migration Camp to the north, guests can cover more than 90% of Serengeti National Park.
