Tarangire Treetops
An elevated treehouse lodge built around ancient baobab and marula trees in the private Randilen Wildlife Management Area on the border of Tarangire National Park.
Settle into Tarangire Treetops
Tarangire Treetops is centred on a Main Lodge built around a thousand-year-old baobab tree, with 20 rooms raised on stilts above the ground for views out over the surrounding marula and baobab canopy. The lodge sits in the Randilen Wildlife Management Area, a private community-run conservancy bordering Tarangire National Park that is administered by the Honeyguide Foundation, home to some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Guests can watch wildlife, including elephants, come to drink at the lodge's own waterhole while dining poolside by candlelight, or join a lantern-lit dinner in a traditional Boma to the sound of Maasai chants and dancing. The lodge works closely with the local Maasai community, who take part in daily life at Treetops and welcome guests to a nearby village.
