Eco-luxury tented camp on the banks of Lake Masek in Ndutu, a privileged front-row seat to the Great Migration between December and April.

The stay

Settle into Masek Tented Lodge

Masek Tented Lodge sits on the banks of Lake Masek in Ndutu, between the vast plains of the Serengeti and the north-eastern Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with animals drawn to the lake in search of water year-round. The area is a principal setting of the Great Migration, which passes through from December to April, and the Big Five also visit the region; the camp is repositioned each year within the area to guarantee the best vantage point for the spectacle. Each spacious tent is built on a raised wood platform with en-suite hot-water bathrooms and an outside shower, elegantly furnished with comfortable beds and cozy seating that blend local materials and traditional African design with modern comfort. The camp is run on solar-generated electricity and collected rainwater, with biodegradable products used throughout to keep it eco-friendly without sacrificing comfort.
